  • Rachel Lavigne, Director of Education

    Rachel Lavigne

    Director of Education

I received my Bachelor of Education in 2007 from SUNTEP in Prince Albert. From there I spent one year teaching in a northern community before returning home to PA. I was a substitute teacher and worked on contracts in both school divisions in Prince Albert for many years before finding my true calling at Sylvan. My experience with a variety of grade level and subject areas was an asset when starting at Sylvan. I was a casual teacher at Sylvan Prince Albert for 4 years before being asked to take on the role of Director of Education. I have enjoyed working with all of the staff and students and look forward to all that Sylvan has to offer in the future.

I retired from teaching in 2007 and have enjoyed the role of a substitute teacher since retiring.
