As Center Director Naz leads inquiries, test administration, student's personal program (based on initial assessment), school teacher contacts, student's progress, and parent conferences.  Naz has been teaching for more than 20 years and is passionate about education.  She started at Sylvan Learning Center in Red Deer as a teacher in 2005 and moved up to Lead Teacher and Director of Education before becoming the Center Director.
  • Ken Coulton, Director of Edge Classes and Camps.

    Ken Coulton

Director of Edge Classes and Camps.

As the Director of Edge Classes and Camps, Ken's main responsibility for Sylvan of Red Deer is to get the schools and community excited about the new S.T.E.M. enrichment programs at Sylvan Learning. This is a natural fit for Ken, as he has computer programming experience himself and until he and his wife purchased Sylvan of Red Deer was the General Manager of Staples on Red Deer's North Side.  At Staples he built many relationships with schools in the community, and hopes to visit those familiar faces and get them acquainted with Sylvan Learning's robotics, coding and other "Edge" programs.
