    Hi there, my name is Harkiran and I am the Director at Sylvan of Vaughan. I did my bachelors in English and my masters in Human resources. I feel so lucky to be a part of the journey where I see students learning and growing. Also, I am working with the best team one could ask for. All the teachers, here at Sylvan are inclined towards the betterment of the students. I believe that you have to understand the depth of a child’s mind to make learning easier and fun for them. Our motto “Learning is personal” believes that each student is unique and so are their learning needs. I cannot wait for you to be a part of our Sylvan family and see your child grow.

    Hello! My name is Michael Tituana, and I am a tutor at Sylvan Learning. I have a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, where I worked in the field for several years. I also have experience working as a teaching assistant for graduate and undergraduate students at Carleton University. Throughout my career, I’ve realized my passion for teaching various subjects for all age groups. At Sylvan Learning, I aim to create a compassionate environment, where students can be their authentic selves while guiding them to small victories each day. It’s not about being the best, but rather being your best. During my spare time, I love exercising, reading, and hiking.

My areas of interest include Math and science and I love to tutor these core subjects see students understand the fundamentals makes me happy. Apart from academics, my hobbies include playing sports, kayaking, and traveling.

    Deepika is a Teacher with a gift for working with kids. While Deepika has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in tutoring math to children. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Toronto, with a double major in Human Biology and Psychology and will be pursuing her Bachelors of Education in September. As an educator, Deepika strives to inspire students and show them their potential, maintaining the notion that the sky is not the limit, their mind is. She is truly passionate about sharing the gift of learning with each unique and promising student she has the privilege of meeting. She strongly believes in spreading positivity and aims to create a safe and inclusive learning environment overall. When Deepika isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with family and friends, doing yoga, dancing, volunteering, reading, biking, or baking!

    Hello! I am MG and currently studying Digital Media (BA) and Concurrent Education (B. Ed) at York University. I have always had a passion for learning and desired to be a teacher from a young age. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, working on my fitness, and trying new experiences outside of my comfort zone. My top priority is to be a role model for my students and to help them navigate through any academic struggles they may have. I pride myself on being empathetic, patient, and disciplined which is reflected in my teaching style.
