Our tutors and staff in Bloomington Center consist of passionate educators who love inspiring children to succeed. Warm, caring and great at relating to kids, our tutors in Bloomington know how to engage and motivate each child in a personal way—building confidence and smiles, as well as skills and better scores.     Greg Moore


    Greg is a returning local who graduated from Franklin Community High School in 1983 and Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1987 (BS-Business) and 1995 (MBA). After school, Greg spent several years working as a financial analyst for multi-national companies in Indiana, Ohio, Canada, and Japan. Happily back on native soil with his wife, he and Tamayo both look forward to helping young students in Indiana build the skills and confidence they need for their future.

    Sue Gens


    Sue oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors in Bloomington. She also teaches virtually all subjects at our center from Beginning Reading through High School Math. Sue's educational background is scientific, having earned her B.S. in Entomology from Purdue University in 1991, therefore she brings a wealth of knowledge to Sylvan of Bloomington. Sue lives in Martinsville with her husband, Scott, and their daughter, Megan. She lives on Lake Edgewood where there are plenty of insects and other wildlife for her and her family to study and explore.

    Shawn Sullivan

    Assistant Director

    Shawn Sullivan (Mr. S.) helps oversee the educational integrity of our programs in Bloomington. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Computer Animation and worked in Chicago for several years making television commercials. JCPenney, Xerox, and Ford were just a few of his clients. However, he felt called to be a teacher and therefore went back to school to receive his Education degree. He comes to Sylvan with teaching experience in 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade classrooms and a dedication to the social and academic growth of all students. When Mr. S. isn't at Sylvan, you'll find him spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
  • Jason Jedlicka, Instructor

    Jason Jedlicka


    Jason is an amazing instructor in Bloomington, IN. He has special tutoring expertise in math and writing. Warm, enthusiastic, and patient, Jason has a great ability to relate to kids. He studied music at the Ohio State University and is currently finishing his PhD in music at Indiana University. When Jason isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him training for marathons, playing chess, or learning new languages.
