  • Cheryl Blair, Instructor/Tutor

    Cheryl Blair

    Instructor/Tutor

I have joined Sylvan Learning Center after being retired from public school teaching for 10 years. I completed my college education in UNI, Cedar Falls, Iowa and U of M, Minneapolis, MN with majors in English, Computer Information Systems, and Special Education. I taught full-time in Minneapolis Public Schools for 20 years and substituted in Chanhassen, Chaska, and Eden Prairie public schools more recently. Sylvan is giving me another opportunity to support children in their educational growth. They in turn help to give me renewed perspective on childhood in a new age. My most rewarding experience was volunteering at Waterloo Community Playhouse in Iowa. Much fun, many friends, and great memories. I am happily married to my husband Michael and is the proud grandma of Parker, James, and Benjamin. In addition, Michael and I have two tiny dogs, Ruby and Diesel.
