Our tutors and staff in El Campo consist of passionate educators who love inspiring children to succeed. Warm, caring and great at relating to kids, our tutors in El Campo know how to engage and motivate each child in a personal way—building confidence and smiles, as well as skills and better scores.     As Center Director, Jenny leads the teachers and staff for Sylvan of El Campo. A former educator, Jenny chose a career in the tutoring business because because she enjoys the relationships she gets to build with the students and the ability to impact their educational future. She completed her BA at  Stephen F. Austin and her Masters at University of Houston Clear Lake. When Jenny isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family, relaxing and enjoying life.

    Jan is a retired kinder teacher from Louise, TX with a gift for working with kids. While Jas has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in working with early readers with tutoring. She studied at UHV. When Jan isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her doing fun activities with her precious grandchildren.

    Tammy is a retired Educational Diagnostician from East Bernard, TX.  working with kids. While Tammy has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in tutoring math. She studied at the University of Houston Victoria. When she isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her working with her husband, George, and other local organizations. .

    Maria is a  teacher  in El Campo, TX with a gift for working with kids. While Maria has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in tutoring  reading/writing. She studied at UH-V. When Maria isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her traveling to different countries, dancing, gardening, kayaking, painting, biking walking and visiting China Town in Houston.  She also enjoys spending time with her children and her German Shepard, Orbie!
