    I just wanted to thank Sylvan Learning Center for helping my daughter learn how to read. I don't know if you remember our family but she was having a hard time and was being held back by the school because she didn't know how to blend her words. Now, she loves to read! Most recently she received the Dr. Seuss reading award at school! I just wanted to take the time and say if wasn't for Sylvan she wouldn't enjoy reading today!

    They have a genuine concern for the student. My Grandson came into the Sylvan learning center June 2014 with his reading skills at 3rd grade level. In September 2014 he entered 5th grade (3 months later) with his reading skills at 5th grade level. AMAZING! His Math skills were also behind by 6 months. He is now in 5th grade and his skills in both reading and math have risen to 5th grade level. He is confident and no longer embarrassed to ask questions. Reading a novel was totally out of the question with him, however, while sitting in the lobby at sylvan he pulled a book from his backpack and began reading without any coaxing WOW...what a surprise. His attitude toward school has taken a complete turnaround. I credit Sylvan Learning center. They have the magic touch in broadening each child's abilities to their fullest extent.

    We started Sylvan about 6 months ago to help my 6 yr old with reading and math. Sylvan has helped him build confidence and he is improving his fluency. The teachers are kind and patient and keep the kids motivated. Ms. Melissa goes above and beyond to communicate and ensure the kids get personalized plans. We also love the monthly check ins where we see the progress. Oh! And my son LOVES the store and asks to go twice in a day to earn tokens. Great job, everyone! We are very grateful.

    Just got the SAT scores back for my son who did the six week course at this specific Sylvan. He is a Junior and does well in school, but the PSAT and other pre-tests he had taken were not strong enough scores. We enrolled him in this 6 week course and he learned a lot! He was thrilled that he got a 1200. This was much better than all of the previous tests and this was the first time taking the real one! Thank you Sylvan! This is going to make a big difference leading into his Senior year.

    My daughter was failing high school math and we didn't know what to do. We came in to Sylvan to give it a try. I love the Rancho staff and how much they have done for my daughter. She went from hating math with an F and not understanding to grades that keep going up. Making math understandable has changed her attitude and grades!
