AJ Lisi

Center Director

As Center Director, AJ leads community outreach and operations for Sylvan of Findlay.
A former Sales Manager in the Grocery business, AJ chose a career in the tutoring business because he wanted to make a difference in children’s lives. He studied at the University of Northwestern Ohio. When AJ isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him running around to all of his 3 kids’ sporting events.

Kadie Wood

Director of Education

As Director of Education, Kadie oversees the educational integrity of our programs and manages and trains our team of tutors in Findlay and Tiffin. She also manages the students of our center and directly facilitates the learning process.

She graduated from Capital University with a B.A. in Education and received her Masters degree in English Education from Jones International University. As a former Elementary and Middle School teacher in Columbus, Kadie is a licensed educator and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Sylvan of Findlay. When she isn’t at the center, you can find her reading, traveling and spending time with her husband Brad and her dog Joe.

Len is a teacher, subbing for surrounding area schools in Hancock Co. Formerly a director with Sylvan, Len has great insight and dedication to offer our students. While Len has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading tutoring. She studied at Ohio Northern University, where she earned her Degree in Education. When Len isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading, practicing flute, or playing with her dog Astrid.

Sarah is a committed and passionate educator here in Findlay OH.  Friendly and kind, Sarah has a great ability to relate to kids and keep them motivated and engaged. She earned her Early Childhood degree at the University of Findlay and has extensive experience instructing students. When Sarah isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her tending her garden and enjoying the great outdoors.

Allisha Bonner

Tutor

Another tutor at our center is Allisha Bonner. Allisha received an undergraduate degree at BGSU, then earned her Master’s Degree in Administration from the American College of Education. She went on and received a Certificate in Autism from ASU. Allisha is a licensed Intervention Specialist as well. At this time, she is working in an ID Unit at Cory Rawson. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Taylor Losh

Tutor

Taylor is an  Intervention Specialist in Delphos, OH who enjoys working with and helping kids grow. While Taylor has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading and math instruction. She studied at Bowling Green State University. When Taylor isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family and enjoying the lake in the summer.

Jennifer Clymer

Tutor

Jennifer is an instructor here at Sylvan of Findlay with a gift for working with kids. While Jennifer has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in literacy education. Jennifer has her degree in Social Psychology and a Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education. When
Jennifer isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her scrapbooking and taking nature walks.

Audree Crites

Tutor

Audree is a teacher from Findlay City Schools, sharing her gifts and many talents with our Sylvan students. Bringing years of teaching experience at all grade levels with her, Audree has an amazing ability to turn a student’s “I can’t” into “I can!” She carries her gifts of kindness and patience to every student she works with. Audree enjoys teaching many subjects, but math is her favorite. She has studied at The Ohio State University as well as Wright State University. When Audree isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her enjoying the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Walter is a teacher here at Sylvan of Findlay and has extensive experience tutoring students of all ages. He has a Masters of Education from the University of Findlay and has taught a wide range of skills throughout his career including math, english, and career level abilities. He has a passion to teach and help others and has been a wonderful addition here. When he’s not at the center, Walter enjoys reading, playing sports, and hanging out with his wife and three children.
