Our tutors and staff in Grand Rapids consist of passionate educators who love inspiring children to succeed. Warm, caring and great at relating to kids, our tutors in Grand Rapids know how to engage and motivate each child in a personal way—building confidence and smiles, as well as skills and better scores.     As a Director at Sylvan of Grand Rapids and Rockford, Brenna oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors and performing day-to-day operations. A former writer, Brenna chose a career in the tutoring business because she missed doing previous work in childhood development and management. She studied communications at Grand Valley State University. When Brenna isn't at Sylvan, you'll find her outside either hiking or on bike rides with friends, or enjoying a good book.

    As a Director at Sylvan of Grandville and Grand Rapids, Kylie oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors and day-to-day operations. A former substitute teacher, Kylie chose a career in the tutoring business because she fell in love with helping students see the value in education and learning. She studied English Education at Grand Valley State University. When Kylie isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading, going thrift shopping, and spending time with her dog, Duke!

    As a Director at Sylvan of Grand Rapids, Amy oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors and day-to-day operations. A former Special Education Teacher, Amy chose a career in the tutoring business because she loves building relationships with her students and parents and loves to see that aha moment. She studied at Hope College and Aquinas College. When Amy isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her doing home improvement projects, sewing, rock hunting, or spending time with her family.
