Responsibilities:-  Have a basic knowledge of, comfort with, and interest in computer programming.  Supervise, interact with, and motivate students (grades 3–5) during instruction and while they work (6:1 ratio). - Communicate with parents in person and via email. - Communicate class needs to the Center director. - Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment. Robotics Product and Operations Manual 32 If so, Sylvan Learning is looking for people like you to fill part-time instructor positions for our new STEM programs, a series of courses on Robotics and coding for elementary and middle-school-aged children. Responsibilities: - Supervise, interact with, and motivate students in grades 2–6 while they build projects according to scripted lesson plans. - Facilitate learning and positive group dynamics among students. - Work as a team with fellow teachers and teacher’s aides. - Communicate with customers via email following each session. - Communicate class needs to the manager. - Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment. -  Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for Sylvan and Sylvan products. - Pick up and drop off equipment as necessary. - Be dependable and reliable. - Adhere to principles and techniques defined in training and ongoing coaching.
