    They have a genuine concern for the student. My Grandson came into the Sylvan Learning Center June 2014 with his reading skills at 3rd grade level. In September 2014 he entered 5th grade (3 months later) with his reading skills at 5th grade level. AMAZING! His Math skills were also behind by 6 months. He is now in 5th grade and his skills in both reading and math have risen to 5th grade level. He is confident and no longer embarrassed to ask questions. Reading a novel was totally out of the question with him, however, while sitting in the lobby at Sylvan he pulled a book from his backpack and began reading without any coaxing WOW...what a surprise. His attitude toward school has taken a complete turnaround. I credit Sylvan Learning Center. They have the magic touch in broadening each child's abilities to their fullest extent.
