  • Amanda Scott, Center Director

    Amanda Scott

    Center Director

As the Center Director, Amanda has immersed herself in the daily operation and instruction at the center. She graduated from Lake Superior State University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a double concentration in English and Social Studies. She has taught both preschool and kindergarten, which has shown her that her favorite thing about working at Sylvan is seeing the joy in the kids’ faces as they work on their individualized plans and see that they CAN do it! When she’s not working, she is at home with her husband, 5 daughters, their 1.5-year-old Great Dane, and 2 kittens getting into all sorts of shenanigans.

When Jennie is not at Sylvan she loves to hike the trails at the Ledges in Grand Ledge or sneak in a yoga class.
