    Kristy brought her son, Nolan, to the Sylvan of Kingwood because she was concerned about his academic adjustment after their big from New York. Kristy's goal for Nolan was that he would transition smoothly into his new classroom after his struggles in his 1st grade class in New York.     Eathon came to Sylvan just before the end of his 1st grade year.  He has struggled to meet the grade level standards for some time, so his mother came to Sylvan hoping that the extra support would be the boost he needed.     For 3rd grade student, Camryn Ivy, school has not always been easy. Camryn was struggling through school  as a result of her dyslexia.  Camyrn's parents became concerned with her confidence level, attitude towards school, and failing grades. They opted to bring Camryn to Sylvan of Kingwood for a diagnostic assessment, and ended up enrolling her in Reading and Math. After completing her programs, Camryn was very happy to bring her last report card to her parents because she had all B's. Camryn's mom had this to say: "As a mother, it was heartbreaking to see our child struggle. We didn't know how to help her. When brought our child to Sylvan, she had absolutely no confidence. Previously, she was made to feel like she just couldn't learn. Sylvan took her by the hand and gave her a safe place to learn and grow.
