    Patricia Salvaggio

    Center Director

I have been a Center Director with Sylvan since 2001. I started at Sylvan of Snohomish and Monroe and began calling Kirkland home in 2011. Being a former teacher, I chose a career in the tutoring business because I love working with families, schools and students. I studied at Worcester State College earning a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. When I am not at Sylvan, you’ll find me spending time in Long Beach and watching the Seahawks.

    Ann Erickson

    Lead Teacher

I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who loves working with kids. For years I dreamed of becoming a teacher, so I went to Western Washington University in Bellingham to study elementary education after high school. I graduated with a degree in elementary English and a teaching certificate. I love reading and writing, so naturally some of my hobbies revolve around this passion as well. For fun, I love to spend time hiking, writing poetry and listening to music. You can also find me hiking the wet trails and climbing rock faces. Most importantly, I love spending time with my fur child, a Chihuahua named Casper.

Sylvan teaching experience: 4 years at Kirkland, 3 years at Monroe

I went to Central Washington University and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts, majoring in Math. I have always found math interesting. I like being able to share math knowledge and help students with their math work. Specifically, I enjoy teaching upper level math, such as Calculus, Trig and Math Analysis. In my free time, I enjoy playing board games, tabletop games, video games, etc. I also like to go bowling.
