Our tutors and staff in Lafayette consist of passionate educators who love inspiring children to succeed. Warm, caring and great at relating to kids, our tutors in Lafayette know how to engage and motivate each child in a personal way—building confidence and smiles, as well as skills and better scores.     Executive Director

    Carol Galbraith is a former high school English teacher who taught for 22 years before purchasing Sylvan of Lafayette and tutoring students in reading. She has a Bachelor's degree in English, speech and theater, and psychology and her Master's degree in secondary education. She is active in numerous community groups, and is a former member of the Chamber Board of Directors, March of Dimes Board of Directors, past president of Lafayette Business to Business, and a past chair of the Chamber Education Committee.

    Tiffany Jamrosz

    Director of Education and College Prep

    Tiffany is a graduate of Calumet College of St. Joseph with BA in English/Education. She has been with Sylvan since March 2016 as a director but started her career with Sylvan as a reading and SAT instructor. Her favorite subjects to teach are SAT Prep, composition and grammar. Prior to her career at Sylvan,  she worked with special needs students in public schools as a Speech and Language Therapist Assistant for 13 years. Her hobbies include spending time with family, reading and learning new things.

    Robin Galbraith

    Assistant Center Director

    Robin attended Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis before an administrative career in the education, healthcare, automotive, and energy conservation industries. She has been with Sylvan since August 2015. She enjoys greeting parents, motivating students to succeed and marketing in the community. She is a member of both the Chamber of Commerce Education committee and the Golden Apple Selection committee. In her spare time, she is the coach of the color guard at a local high school.
