    I'm a sophomore in high school who started Sylvan a couple months ago, and I've seen great improvement in myself. I started to come here just to get an extra step up in my grades because I started to slack this year. I've improved a lot and also developed a great relationship with most of the staff that work with me. I feel that I can go to them whenever and never have to shy down. Soon I'll be starting SAT prep and can't wait to see my improvement in results.

    Sylvan has been a great experience for me. I came here for SAT tutoring and still continued to come for AP Calc tutoring. All the teachers have been very helpful and if I didn't understand anything they dont mind reviewing it again. In such a short period of time with sylvan I've gotten better at my studying skills and testing anxiety. I highly recommend to any student! If I had known about this when I was younger I would of started coming earlier!

    Sylvan Learning Center of Lake Mary has been a wonderful experience for our three children! Our 1st grade twins have excelled in their early reading skills and have built confidence that has carried over into their classrooms. Our 4th grade son scored high on the Florida end of the year test in grade 3 and is now shining in math as well! This is the second year at Sylvan for all three kids. With the talented instructors and directors as well as the monthly progress tests, my wife and I can see academic growth during the school year and during the summer months too! We are so thankful to have found such a caring and talented place to enrich our children!!

    Sylvan helped prepare for the SAT by giving me clear instructions and strategies that were second nature by the time the test came around. My sessions helped me gains broader knowledge in general math that I had been lacking and boosted my confidence in that area. While reading and writing come easier to me, Sylvan still gave me strategies that allowed me to approach these sections of the test with complete ease.

    When I first walked into Sylvan learning I was a little embarrassed seeing I was the only adult going in there for tutoring. But the staff made me feel comfortable. Ali is AMAZING! I went from a 54% in college algebra to a 73% with his help. I have been out of school for maaaannny years and he still manage to help me pass my class. THANKS AGAIN ALL! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone of all ages.

    I want to thank Sylvan Lake Mary staff for their dedicated commitment in making a positive change towards academic achievements. I recall procrastinating about enrolling my child due to the costs however observing my child’s struggles got the best of me and I figured it would be more rewarding seeing my child excel rather than to continue to attempt to remedy the issue which clearly wasn’t working out for us at home. Rightfully so! Sylvan was the best decision I ever made for my child. My child had the support of their dedicated staff and as a result was able to gain the skills and confidence to improve his areas of struggle. My child dramatically improved in such short time frame. My child’s educators and I are shocked at the growth, confidence and perseverance my child has demonstrated. My child enjoyed attending Sylvan and also met peers he could identify with. Thank you Sylvan LM for all the support you provided!!The staff at Sylvan made it a comfortable and pleasant experience for my child. I will forever be thankful!! My child went from having a poor report card to a superb report card. I will definitely return for continued guidance and support.     This place deserves a 100 stars. In the summer of 2022 I found out my daughter was going to be retained in the 3rd grade and I was immediately trying to find her some help over the summer. I had heard about silver learning center from family members so I went to the Sylvan learning center in Melbourne Florida explaining the situation between my daughter and how I wanted her to get help so she could essentially be promoted to the 4th grade early into the school year. The Director at Melbourne Sylvan Center basically told me that I had unrealistic goals for my child so of course I left there devastated not knowing where to begin. After speaking with my mom I decided to try Lake Mary Sylvan even though they produce the same information I wanted to see if I would get a different outlook. My initial meeting was set up with William and he provided me information from what the computer gave which was like over a 180 hours and at that point my daughter would be caught up to grade level at least. Not once did he say I understand you want your daughter to be promoted to the 4th grade but we just can't do that he told me that there was times where some students will catch on quicker and be able to use more of their skills within the time frame and there's other times where it may take students a little bit longer. Needless to say after 2 months of 6 hours per week my daughter was promoted to the 4th grade. I am forever grateful and will share my experience with anyone needing assistance and may not know where to start. Trust the process and Teachers.
