Meet our Lima Tutoring Staff

As Center Director, Gina leads the marketing and public relations for Sylvan of Lima, Wapakoneta & Delphos. Her primary role is to provide information to parents and the public about services we have to offer. A former teacher, Gina chose a career in the tutoring business because she loves to help kids succeed. She studied at The University of Findlay where she received both her Bachelor in Science in Education and her Masters in Education. When Gina isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with family and friends.

Stephanie oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors in Lima. A former teacher from Tallahassee, Florida, Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge to Sylvan of Lima. She graduated from Flagler College where she received her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and Exceptional Student Education. When Stephanie isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family or enjoying a good book.

Kay is is currently an intervention specialist at ACESC. She has a range of experience in education. She has taught various capacities in elementary and middle schools in several states including Ohio, Maryland, Alaska, and Texas. She studied at The Ohio State University where she earned both a BS in elementary education and MS in Education Theory and Practice. Additionally, she earned certification as an intervention specialist from the University of AK, SE. When Kay isn't at Sylvan you'll find her spending time with her 3 (grown) children.

Emily is a  substitute teacher in Lima, OH with a gift for working with kids. While Emily has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading tutoring and watching our young students develop their early reading skills. She studied at The Ohio State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Education. When Emily isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her enjoying time with family and her pets.

Hannah is a teacher in Lima, OH with a love for working with kids. While Hannah has many tutoring talents, she is most passionate about reading and English tutoring. She studied at Miami University, where she earned both her degrees. When Hannah isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading or enjoying video games.

Rachael is an amazing tutor with a gift for working with kids. From Geometry help to our Academic Reading program, Rachael enjoys sharing her love for learning.  She studied at Regent University as well as the University of Toledo, earning several degrees from a Bachelors to a Juris Doctor Degree. When Rachael isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family.

Taylor is an  Intervention Specialist in Delphos, OH who enjoys working with and helping kids grow. While Taylor has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading and math tutoring. She studied at Bowling Green State University. When Taylor isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family and enjoying the lake in the summer.

Rosario is a middle school teacher in Lima, OH with a passion for helping kids succeed. Her love of education and helping kids all over the Lima area has made her an amazing tutor that has helped students excel at all they do. Rosario finds great joy in reading tutoring and helping kids develop those early building blocks. She studied at The Ohio State University. When Rosario isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family.

Stacia is an Intervention Specialist in Lima, OH with a gift for working with kids. She enjoys being able to connect with students to help provide them with the personalized instruction they need.  While Stacia has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in math tutoring. She studied at the University of Bluffton. When Stacia isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family and enjoying boating season on the Auglaize River.
