After school reading program
Sylvan Learning Center is looking for part-time after-school teachers to work at Midland Public Schools in Midland, MI for a federally funded grant program. The schedule is either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday and will run from August 2022 through May 2023. The sessions are scripted, so no lesson plans are needed. Classes are taught in a maximum 8:1 ratio with a largely homogeneous group. A state teaching license is required (out-of-state or expired are acceptable). Experience with at-risk youth is a plus. The position starts in August with paid training held prior. Must be able to commit to teaching the full term. Job Type: Part-time Salary: $20.00/hour
