Kama’aina Kids & Sylvan Learning Establish New Academic Partnership
Aug 24, 2017
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 2017 –
Sylvan Learning Kahala and Sylvan Learning Mililani are excited to announce that they’re partnering with Kama‘aina Kids to offer a new A+ afterschool enrichment program for elementary school students.
Sylvan Scholars will be offered at Kanoelani, Keoneula, Koko Head, and Liholiho Elementary Schools on Oahu and Wilcox Elementary School on Kauai with plans to roll out to more schools statewide. “These new programs are designed to build skills and accelerate momentum by giving keiki more structured attention after the bell rings,” said Naito.
Next month, Sylvan Learning is celebrating 30 years of education in Hawaii. “We’ve been a trusted brand for over 30 years because our educators use a personal approach and interactive technology to help kids learn math, reading, writing and more.” said Pamela Lee, Sylvan Kahala owner. “We’re experts at turning B’s into A’s and frustration into confidence, that’s why we’ve been voted Honolulu Family Best Tutor for 5 years in a row.”
Kama‘aina Kids A+ program activities include sports, crafts, drama, music, dance, and more. “We’re really excited to be partnering with Sylvan Learning to offer more educational program opportunities for our A+ students,” said Mark Nishiyama, co-Founder of Kama‘aina Kids.
Classes start August 28th and the first week of Sylvan Scholars is free of charge. “The cost for the program is $200 per month which includes 4 days of classes a week,” said Naito. To enroll your keiki, sign up at A+ or call Sylvan Kahala at 808-735-8811 or Sylvan Mililani at 808-623-0808.
