YOUR CHILD’S LAST CHANCE TO SCORE
Aug 14, 2017
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July, 2017 – Sylvan Learning Hawaii Kahala and Mililani centers announced SAT and ACT prep courses to help your child achieve their highest score possible and give them the best chance of getting into the college of their dreams.
“For many seniors this is the last opportunity they’ll have to score before college applications are due,” said Pamela Lee, Sylvan Kahala owner. “For those entering their junior year, it’s a great time to set the path to college success.”
Preparing your child for college goes beyond just getting through the admissions process and buying colorful dorm décor. Students also need to be ready for the rigors of college academics. “We can help your family navigate the entire college experience, from preparing for the SAT and ACT to creating a pathway to success in college with our SylvanPrep program,” said George Naito, Sylvan Learning Mililani Owner.
Sylvan Learning’s aggressive prep course offers personal instruction on subjects like math, reading, and writing needed to prepare for college coursework, and focuses heavily on building skills and the practice needed to score high on college entrance exams.
“We have strategies that help college-bound students navigate the increased academic and personal demands they’ll encounter,” said Lee. “Students will have access to 24/7 video lessons, an interactive vocabulary builder with hundreds of common SAT and ACT words, and multiple full-length, timed practice tests”
SAT and ACT 3:1 prep classes typically consist of two classes every week for eight consecutive weeks but can vary depending on your child’s needs. Sylvan Mililani will be offering an SAT Prep Seminar series Saturdays starting August 5th and ending September 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm.
