The Sylvan STEM Teacher is responsible for creating a positive and fun learning environment during our Robotics, Coding, Engineering, and Science courses and camps.
You would be a great fit if you: • Have a passion for Robotics, Coding, Engineering, and Science • Are familiar with computer programming • Can facilitate group-based learning in grades 1-6 (ages 5-12) • Comfortable communicating with parents • Enjoy working with kids in a hands on, interactive way • Are reliable, personable, flexible and energetic Skills and Abilities Required • Knowledge of equipment such as copiers, printers, and tablet computers preferred. • Proven ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students to learn • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible • Strong problem solving and customer service skills • Strong team player • Experience with children, such as camps, church groups, and other instructional group opportunities. • Please send resume for consideration to Mike Rangel, Center Director at mike@sylvanstl.com
