    Center Director

    As Center Director, Brittney helps lead the team for Sylvan of Omaha. A former daycare Director, Brittney chose a career in the tutoring business because she loves to enlighten the minds of our youth. When Brittney isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading or spending time with her family.

    Bri Pohlmann

    Director of Education

    Bri is thrilled to be the Director of Education for the Bellevue and Omaha Centers! She grew up in a family of farmers and teachers in Deshler Nebraska. She has a BA in Music Education from Doane University. She has always been passionate about working with young people and she brings her years of classroom experience and expertise - along with her love of working with people - to her position at Sylvan.

    Krista Zipp


    Krista is a fifth grade teacher in Omaha, NE with a gift for working with kids. While Krista has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in math tutoring. She studied at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. When Krista isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her sewing, spending time with her family and new puppy, going hiking, rollerblading or listening to music.

    Rose is one of our fantastic tutors at Sylvan of Omaha, NE with a love for teaching and working with kids. Rose loves working with students of all ages, and truly enjoys Sylvan's Academic Reading program. When Rose isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her gardening, biking or reading her favorite book!

    Malia Johnson


    When she was younger, Malia wanted to be a doctor, but we're sure glad she became a math teacher! Malia loves fostering a love of learning in her students by helping them see the "why" in what they're studying. She would love to visit Greece with her family and enjoys snuggling with her cat at the end of a long day.

    Tina Brown


    Tina loves running, reading, and traveling. At Sylvan, she is a reading teacher who specializes in teaching her students to be leaders. Tina has a gift for explaining her lessons so the students truly understand. She is a great addition to our team!
  • Jordan Winquest, Tutor

    Jordan Winquest


    Jordan is a tutor in Lincoln NE, with a gift for working with kids. While Jordan has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in tutoring reading in all ages. She is studying Elementary Education at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. When Jordan isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her playing her guitar or playing board games with her family.

    Sabrina Berger


    Sabrina is originally from Arizona where she attended Grand Canyon University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Educational Studies. She has taught kindergarten and 1st grade and has a passion to see little ones learn and grow. When she's not teaching, she is spending time with her husband, baby, two dogs and a cat.

    Julissa Ramirez


    Julissa is an Omaha native who attends UNO. She has spent a lot of time volunteering with nonprofit organizations and has served as the Head Rehersal Manager for Omaha Area Youth Orchestra. She believes that there is no rush to learning and that each student should be given the tools to learn in their own way which is one of the reasons she loves Sylvan!

    Marissa Roh


    Marissa is a former CPA, graduating from Doane College. She chose a career in the tutoring business because it's been a huge part of her family since 1996. She loves spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors (paddle boarding, fishing, etc.), and a good book. Marissa loves seeing the impact Sylvan has made on families and the surrounding community.
