    Executive Director

    Randy earned his Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Boise State University.  After years of teaching middle school History and Math, Randy decided to join the Sylvan family.  He has been with Sylvan of Tri-Cities since 2005.  Randy enjoys outdoor activities such as mountain climbing, snow shoeing, and wake boarding.

    Administrative Assistant

    Danielle is the Administrative Assistant at Sylvan. She graduated from WSU Tri-Cities where she earned her degree in Business Administration. She enjoys painting and cooking in her free time.  Danielle loves being the first person to greet the students when they arrive for their Sylvan classes. She has worked at Sylvan for about ten years.

    Emily is our Instructional Aide for the Sylvan in Richland, WA who loves making connections with kids. She attended Western Washington University where she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. Emily likes helping the children feel supported and proud of their work. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, crafting, and attending concerts or plays.

    Elizabeth loves being a teacher at Sylvan! She enjoys tutoring students in reading, writing, math, and homework support. Elizabeth earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Willamette University and has her teaching certificate.  When Elizabeth isn't at Sylvan, you'll find her traveling in her free time, reading, or singing!

    Teacher

    Kylie's favorite thing about working with students is showing them that while math can be challenging, it is not something to be afraid of. She loves seeing the students understand concepts and become more confident! Kylie earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Western Washington University, and enjoys teaching math and SAT/ACT Prep at Sylvan. She likes watching films, reading, and playing chess in her spare time, and also enjoys collecting comic books.

    Victoria is a tutor at both our Sylvan locations in Richland and Kenenwick, WA who loves working with kids. While Victoria has many tutoring talents, she enjoys teaching math. She studied at Pacific Lutheran University where she earned her Bachelors in Geo-sciences and Environmental Studies. When Victoria isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her gardening or crafting. She was born and raised in Hawaii and loves tropical plants and sunshine!

    Tutor

    Kolette is a teacher in Richland, WA with a gift for working with kids. While Kolette has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in tutoring reading for our littles. She studied at Walla Walla University in Elementary Education with a minor in English and History. When Kolette isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her riding her bike, knitting, or eating ice cream! She loves her cats and can speak a little German and ASL.

    Tutor

    Alex is a tutor in Richland, WA who has worked with children for over a decade. She has spent time in classrooms in both a volunteer and professional capacity. She studied at Western Governor's University where she earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and also has her teachers certification through the state of Washington. Alex spends most of her free time reading, but when she can she enjoys kayaking, painting, quilting, and baking. She is a Le Cordon Bleu certified pastry chef and read over 350 books last year!
