Testimonials for Sylvan of Seattle

At Sylvan Learning of Seattle, we celebrate successes in many ways: bigger smiles at homework time, newfound confidence on tests and report card victories. But of course, we also love hearing directly from Sylvan families! Every week, parents tell us: “My child is so much happier.” “My child is thriving in school.” “My child wouldn’t have gotten into college without you.” Please explore our testimonials to discover what local families have to say about us.

  • Sylvan (in North Seattle, WA on 15th St) has been a life-saver for my daughter who has struggled with math forever. She was many years behind grade level when we started. Even with an IEP and math support at school she just wasn't making it and didn't have the basics mastered. When we started last year at the beginning of 8th grade, she needed to learn everything. She has now working at her grade level, has mastered all the basics and has confidence that she never had. My daughter was resistant at first and very quickly started enjoying her sessions that she leaves very happy. So, aside from helping her academically, she loves the process. It has been an invaluable investment in my daughter’s education. The staff is always professional, fun, kind and very good at what they do. They even communicate with the teachers at school which I appreciate. I will always be grateful for what Sylvan has done for us and I will always recommend them to students in need and teachers as well. THANK YOU

  • There is a noticeable improvement in confidence as well as in grade scores. My daughter does not mind giving up part of her Saturday- no higher praise from a teen!

  • I am happy with the way Sylvan first tested my daughter to see what level she was at. This gives a great foundation place to start. At her public school this has definitely been a lot of the problem area. Before it has really sunk in and she is totally comfortable with what the materials are they move along to the next level. I would rather her spend extra time until she is extremely confident in what she is working on. I think that they do a wonderful job of rewarding her also for the progress she has made.
