Teacher
Ashley is a reading and elementary math tutor. While Ashley has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in Language Arts. Ashley studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University. When Ashley isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her reading, going to concerts and spending time with loved ones. She loves to travel, especially to the beach, Disney World and Universal Studios. Ashley’s favorite restaurant is Mezza because she loves Mediterranean food.
Amanda Dooley
Teacher
Amanda is an energetic reading and SAT/ACT tutor in Teaneck, NJ with a true passion for teaching. While Amanda has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in Reading tutoring. She studied at William Paterson University. When Amanda isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her teaching History and coaching basketball.
Renee Payumo
Teacher
Renee is a math and SAT/ACT tutor in Teaneck, NJ who is extremely patient and a great listener when it comes to her students. While Renee has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in Math tutoring. She studied at Stony Brook University. When she isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her journaling or playing video games. Renee’s favorite TV show is Snowpiercer.
Dave Cappadona
Teacher
Dave is a math, reading SAT/ACT tutor. While Dave has many tutoring talents, he finds his true passion is in reading. Dave studied at Siena College in New York. When Dave isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him writing. Dave’s favorite restaurant is River Palm Terrace, because he loves steak and sushi!
Marissa Rosa
Teacher
Marissa is a math, reading, SAT/ACT tutor here in Teaneck, NJ. Although she is skilled at many things, her greatest joy is found in mathematics. Marissa studied at New York University (NYU). When Marissa isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her taking her puppy on a hike. Marissa’s favorite restaurant is Asahi because she loves sushi!
Veerendra (Vee) Balchand
Teacher
Vee is a math, reading, SAT/ACT tutor. While Vee has many talents, his joy is found in mathematics. Vee studied at the University of Rochester in New York. When Vee isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him playing games. Vee’s favorite restaurant is Picnic because he loves sushi!
Eaton Shao
Teacher
Eaton is a mathematics, SAT/ACT tutor here at Sylvan of Teaneck. While Eaton excels in many topics, he finds the greatest joy in teaching Calculus. Eaton had studied at SUNY Binghamton. When Eaton isn’t at Sylvan, you can find him spending his time outdoors. His favorite restaurant is Eagle Thai, since he loves their green curry!
Miguelina Rosa López
Teacher
Miguelina is a STEM (science and mathematics) teacher here in Teaneck, NJ. While she has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in helping middle school children! She loves science and also speaks Spanish fluently. Ms. Rosa López studied at Lehman College & Hunter College in NY. When Miguelina isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family. Her favorite restaurant is Noches de Columbia because it has a variety of Spanish foods to enjoy!
Nihan Kizitug
Teacher
Nihan is a reading tutor here at Sylvan Learning Center of Teaneck. While Nihan has many talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading comprehension. She had studied both the English Language as well as Literature! When Nihan isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her jogging or reading a booK. Nihan’s favorite restaurant is Samdan, because she loves Turkish food!
