Our tutors and staff in Timonium consist of passionate educators who love inspiring children to succeed. Center Director
As Center Director, Lindsay leads the education, and customer relations for Sylvan of Timonium. A former local preschool Director, Lindsay chose a career in the tutoring business because she loves working to reach and exceed students’ education goals. She studied at Towson University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree. When Lindsay isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her spending time with her family, reading, and exploring different outdoor areas of her community.
Laurie C.
Administrative Assistant
Laurie is a Sylvan Center Administrative Assistant and teacher in Timonium, MD. Before coming to Sylvan Learning, Laurie was a pre-school teacher for 8 years. Laurie studied Secondary Education and Social Science at Towson University. When she is not at Sylvan, you will find Laurie spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also loves to scrapbook, read and crochet.

Virginia is a tutor in Timonium, MD with a gift for working with kids. While Virginia has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in working with a broad spectrum of students with diverse abilities. She studied at Morgan State University (BS) and Coppin State College (MS). When Virginia isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Jenn is a 5th grade teacher currently teaching in Parkville, Maryland with a gift for working with kids. While Jenn has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in reading tutoring. She studied at Towson Univeristy. When Jenn isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her creating crafts or reading new books.

Adam has been a Math tutor at Sylvan Learning for several years with a gift for working with kids. While Adam has many tutoring talents, he finds the greatest joy in tutoring math. He studied at UMBC and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. When Adam isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find him hiking, cooking, playing tennis, and cheering on Penn State sports!

Rona is a teacher in Maryland with a gift for working with kids. While Rona has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in tutoring elementary reading. She studied at University of Texas at Austin. When Rona isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her attending concerts, visiting museums, traveling, and playing hockey.

While Kiya has many tutoring talents, she finds the greatest joy in tutoring students in math. Kiya received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Baltimore. When Kiya isn’t at Sylvan, you will find her reading, baking and binge-watching television.
