    AP Mathematics, Chemistry & Physics TUTOR

    Mr. Toby is a gifted Mathematics/STEM tutor specializing in AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Biology, AP Macroeconomics, and Mandarin Chinese. We are proud to have him in our Yorba Linda, CA learning center! Toby goes above and beyond for our students and sees their progress on a daily basis as extremely rewarding. Toby received his Bachelor of Science in Poli Sci/ Data Analytics from UCSD. He finds the staff very supportive, nice, and affable within a team-minded environment, providing excellent guidance for him and his students. Toby's "Hi-Five!" is at receiving at least one laugh or smile from each student before they walk out.

    Director of Education

    Ms. Heather oversees the educational integrity of our programs, managing and training our team of tutors in Yorba Linda, CA.  A former Director of the ESL (English as a Second Language) Program at the ISB International School of Basel in Bottmingen, Switzerland, and teaching English at Wall Street School of English, Heather brings a wealth of knowledge to Sylvan of Yorba Linda, CA.  She graduated from Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology with honors, her Teaching Credential, and master's degree in Education.  She also received her bachelor's degree in Art from CSULB.  When Heather isn’t at Sylvan, you’ll find her enjoying the arts, foreign languages, travel, and the great outdoors.
